Learning Journey 3
(Post-Conference)

North of Scotland

5 days with option for 3 or 4 days – evening of Thursday 25th June to evening of Tuesday 30th June 2026

Leaving Aberdeen late afternoon of the final day of the conference, delegates will board the NorthLink Ferry from Aberdeen to the island of Orkney, arriving in Orkney at 11pm in the evening.

Delegates will wake up on the island of Orkney and spend two days immersing themselves on a thriving Scottish island. Visits will be made to agritourism businesses, innovative farms and to cultural sights with time in the programme for exploring the main town of Kirkwall.

Delegates will take a different ferry back to the Scottish mainland, heading south through the very north of Scotland, basing themselves in the beautiful Highland village of Strathpeffer for two nights. From there, visits will be made to farms in and around the Inverness and Moray areas over two days, before heading south into Highland Perthshire for the final night and tours of the trip. Delegates will return to Edinburgh, either to the airport or City Centre.
