Pre-conference tours consist of two different two-day tour options, starting in Edinburgh after the Royal Highland Show, and ending in Aberdeen.
Post-conference tours offer three different five-day tour options, starting in Aberdeen and ending in Edinburgh or Glasgow. These post-conference tours provide the option to take part for the full five days or three or four days of the itinerary.

TOURS 1 & 2 (Pre-Conference)
2 Days Edinburgh to Aberdeen
Delegates are encouraged to arrive in Edinburgh on Friday 19th June and enjoy one or two days, experiencing Scotland’s largest gathering of farming life at the Royal Highland Show, on the outskirts of the City adjacent to the airport. Delegates can also enjoy spending time in the historic City of Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital.
Two separate two-day tours will leave Edinburgh early on Sunday 21st June and head north, staying in the City of Dundee, at the mid-way point to Aberdeen, that night.
Each tour will visit six agritourism and farm retail businesses each during Sunday and Monday, joining together on the Sunday evening for an on-farm BBQ close to Dundee.
Delegates will reach Aberdeen on the Monday evening before the main conference begins the following morning.

TOUR 3 (Post-Conference)
North Tour
5 days with option for 3 or 4 days – evening of Thursday 25th June to evening of Tuesday 30th June 2026
Leaving Aberdeen late afternoon of the final day of the conference, delegates will board the NorthLink Ferry from Aberdeen to the island of Orkney, arriving in Orkney at 11pm in the evening.
Delegates will wake up on the island of Orkney and spend two days immersing themselves on a thriving Scottish island. Visits will be made to agritourism businesses, innovative farms and to cultural sights with time in the programme for exploring the main town of Kirkwall.
Delegates will take a different ferry back to the Scottish mainland, heading south through the very north of Scotland, basing themselves in the beautiful Highland village of Strathpeffer for two nights. From there, visits will be made to farms in and around the Inverness and Moray areas over two days, before heading south into Highland Perthshire for the final night and tours of the trip. Delegates will return to Edinburgh, either to the airport or City Centre.

TOUR 4 (Post-Conference)
East of Scotland Tour
5 days with option for 3 or 4 days – evening of Thursday 25th June to evening of Tuesday 30th June 2026
Leaving Aberdeen late afternoon of the final day of the conference, delegates will board the coach and drive one hour south to the City of Dundee.
Friday’s tour will head over the River Tay Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife, then on to upland Perthshire and the Angus Glens on Saturday, visiting the Stirlingshire area on Sunday. Saturday evening will feature an on-farm event with local farmers telling the story of the Aberdeen Angus cattle breed, which was established in this area, followed by a BBQ.
Delegates will head south of the Capital City of Edinburgh on Sunday to the Scottish Borders region and after spending the day there will stay in the spa town of Peebles. The tour concludes in the Lothians before delegates return to Edinburgh, either being taken to the airport or City Centre.

TOUR 5 (Post-Conference)
West of Scotland Tour
5 days with option for 3 or 4 days – evening of Thursday 25th June to evening of Tuesday 30th June 2026
Leaving Aberdeen late afternoon of the final day of the conference, delegates will board the coach and drive one hour south to the City of Dundee where delegates will be based for the first night.
Friday’s tour will head to Perthshire followed by an on-farm BBQ that evening, joined by local farmers. On Saturday delegates will visit the Loch Lomond area and stay overnight by the Loch, before heading south of the City of Glasgow on Sunday to the region of Dumfries and Galloway.
Leaving the town of Dumfries on Monday morning, the tour heads north again to visit the regions of Lanarkshire and Ayrshire over Monday and Tuesday before the tour concludes either in Glasgow City Centre or at Glasgow airport.
